Ryanair will increase the number of flights from Stansted Airport in Britain to more than 700 a week from 490 this winter. This move will bring an additional two million passengers in the hub every year.
Adding New Routes
The airline has released its London Stansted winter schedule for 2014, revealing that it is planning to add eight new routes from there to destinations such as Prague and Athens. They will also add frequencies on 14 current services, such as to Barcelona, Cork, and Lisbon.
Increasing Ryanair Flights
Ryanair said in a statement that these improvements will boost the number of Ryanair flights to and from the airport to 700 per week from its current number of 490 from next winter.
Michael O’Leary, Ryanair chief executive, added that the airline would release 100,000 for sale for travel from April to May.
Andrew Harrison, London Stansted managing editor, welcomed Ryanair changes and said that it was making developments with the £80 million restoration of its terminal building.
